Black Sands at Kilauea-Kona Hawaii

While on our honeymoon, my wife and I stopped by a black sand beach at just south of Kona, HI on the big island, on our way to Hilo.

The sand is composed of volcanic stone and coral. Its the darkest I’ve ever seen! So I thought this could be an opportunity for an “iphoneograph” or an iPhone photograph
